How We Met - Juli's version

Six years, five months and 12 days ago, Tommy and I met at a very nice, clean bar called Harry O's in Manhattan Beach, CA. We hung out with Kari (my sister) and Tony (Tommy's roommate) at my place for a couple hours playing video games! Before leaving, Tommy asked for my phone number. Some of you may be confused by the reference to Tommy, well, that's what he told me his name was.

After a brief phone call (all of Tommy's phone calls are brief), we decided to go on a date. Tommy was going to figure out what day and send me an email later that week. I got an email from a "Todd" later that week and almost deleted it. Who's Todd? After reading the email, I realized that Todd is Tommy. I know, it confused me too.

First Date- We decided to go out for dinner on Sunday, January 13, 2002. Todd was spending the weekend in San Francisco. When Sunday came around, I wasn't feeling that well and wasn't sure if I was ready to date. I called Todd to cancel the date; his phone was off, I left a message. Right on time, Todd arrived at my door. The rest is history. I don't believe in fate, but I'm so happy that Todd lost his phone in San Francisco and didn't get my message.
