A few factoids from the wedding ceremony & reception that may be of interest:
- The prelude music you heard was from the Braveheart - Todd's favorite movie.
- We did finish the sand ceremony at dinner.
- Whoever voted for Sam Adams did not drink enough....we only emptied about a third of that keg!
- Renting a tent was a good idea!
The reading by Juli's grandmother Joyce is called “The Art of Marriage” by Wilfred Peterson and it goes like this:
A good marriage must be created. In the marriage the little things are the big things. It is never being too old to hold hands. It is remembering to say 'I love you' at least once a day. It is never going to sleep angry. It is having a mutual sense of values and common objectives. It is standing together and facing the world.....It is forming a circle of love that gathers in the whole family. It is speaking words of appreciation and demonstrating gratitude in thoughtful ways. It is having the capacity to forgive and forget. It is giving each other an atmosphere in which each can grow. It is a common search for the good and the beautiful. It is not only marrying the right person. It is being the right partner.
Our vows were as follows:
TODD: We stand today in front of our family and friends ready to pledge our lives to one another.
JULI: We pledge that the home we are founding today will have love at its core.
TODD: I promise I will do all that I can to nourish and grow our love for each other.
JULI: I will encourage your growth as you will encourage mine.
TODD: I promise that I will not expect you to always think and believe exactly as you do today.
JULI: I promise to respect your opinions even when they differ from my own.
TODD: I promise to challenge you to continually strive for more, both in our relationship and in our individual goals.
JULI: I will help you to be the best person you can be, and will support you in the pursuit of your goals.
TODD: We will continue to encourage a spirit of adventure in our lives.
JULI: We will honor our marriage through good times and bad.

Great pictures, but how could they not be with a handsome couple and a gorgeous setting. It was a pleasure sharing your perfect day.
